About the College of Communication

In 1947, Boston University founded the first academic program in the United States in public relations. Boston University also has the distinct honor of granting the first Master of Science degree in Public Relations. Many of the College of Communication programs are revered as the best in the nation as well as internationally. The school boasts a current enrollment of 2,350 students, 168 faculty members, and more than 20,000 alumni worldwide.
